Filled with lovely genuine antique lace, antique Italian micro bead necklace, gents pocket watch, gold style framed photo, antique style fan, partial bouquet of white roses, vintage letters and a beautiful perfume bottle with topaz crystal stopper.

I have this picture box displayed on an easel, but it can be hung on the wall. You will need to use your own method of fixing it to a wall.

Filled Stolen Art Trunk

I really enjoyed designing and making this. The trunk is deep red with an aging black fleck. It has been filled with old masterpieces that have been "stolen" from national galleries and private collections and hoarded away in this trunk!

I have created an antiqued list of some major artworks really stolen over the centuries and you can see this draped casually over the trunk. All the paintings are fixed in place.

The paintings are printed on cotton fabric to represent canvas.

Filled 7 Drawer Chinoserie Cabinet

Darwinian Display

This is a project I have had on my mind for some time.
This cabinet has seven velvet lined and filled drawers: two have Handmade Birds Eggs, one drawer Semi-Precious Stones, one drawer sea shells and three drawers of Butterflies. Each individual egg is handmade. I have tried to make them true 12th scale and have painted each egg to reflect the eggs as they are in the wild. Each little cotton lined box has eggs including: Kittiwake; Blackbird; Stone Curlew; Blue Tit; Song Thrush; Hobby; Mute Swan; Common Tern; Mocking Bird; Cormorant; Magpie; Green Woodpecker and Sparow Hawk. There is also 24 species of Butterfly, ten semi-precious Stones and ten sea shells. Each label is readable. I have used artistic license to name the stones and shells. Note: there are no valuable stones in this unit.

Collecting things was a very popular pastime in Victorian England. Egg collecting was eventually outlawed in the 1950's. Butterfly collecting, although not outlawed, there is a code of practice for collecting these wonderful creatures today. All items are fixed in place. The unit is JiaYi Handpainted Chinoiserie Style. It measures H16.4cm x W7.7cm x D4cm .

Eminently suitable for a house, Museum, antique shop, Darwin style studies etc.

This is a collection of precious and semi precious stones / gems. Each label is readable.

I have velveteen lined and filled eight of the ten drawers with either birds eggs or butterflies. Each individual egg is handmade. I have tried to m
ake them true 12th scale and have painted each egg to reflect the eggs as they are in the wild. Each little cotton lined box has eggs as follows: Yellowhammer; Hobby; Avocet; Song Thrush; Whooping Crane; Red Bcked Shrike; Blackbird; Robin; Snowy Owl; Black Tern and Goshawk. There are 13 different types of butterfly.
Each label is fully readable.

The unit is a manufactured unit which I have embelished to look elegant and grand. The two drawers in the bottom right and left of the unit are sealed and cannot be opened. This is a pale cream table with a line of electric lights around the mirror. Filled with allsorts of items all fixed in place: wig on stand, MacBeth Skull; tiara; make-up jars, cotton wool, good luck cards, well thumbed manuscript; jewellery; famous early actors' pics; used tubes of grease-paint; brushes with real bristles; perfume bottles; lovely cuppa honey tea with lemon; used make-up tissue etc etc etc. Genuine antique lace is used for the shawl on the chair. Most of the items are handmade.

NOTE: The lights have a 2 pin plug fitted. I will also provide a spare set of lights. I have placed the lights inside the unit so that they can be removed easily.

VICTORIAN STYLE PERFUMERIE TABLE #3

This is a Jiayi handcarved wwoden table finished in Ivory cream with gold antiquing. All the little bottles are designed by me and are solid so canot be filled with liquid. On one side at the back is a little box with lock and the other side has a golden bowl filled with powders talc and hand cream. I designed the two tier wooden display to create the height of the display. Genuine antique lace is used to give this piece a feminine elegance.

This is the third one of these tables I have created. It is signed by me V. Harper on the base.

The chair is made of wood, painted and handfinished with an antiquing gold fleck. This is a fabulous warm Antique Pine style shoe cabinet. It is an American handmade item with fabulous scroll and shoe detail fretwork along the top of the cabinet.
